Some of the kind things people have said about our work:

“Real Talk Theatre were invited to our school as part of our sixth form well being day. Our students responded really well to the sessions which were delivered with professionalism, energy and care. Highly recommend.”

Ruth Taylor, Head of Sixth Form. St Mary’s School.

“The work that Real Talk Theatre Company are doing is really valuable and wholly relevant for schools from a pastoral perspective. There is a need for both staff and students to talk about mental health and well-being. The discussions prompted by the company were vibrant and led to some interesting debate. It was good to see the students open up and take the opportunity to talk about their feelings and experiences in a safe and positive environment.”

Jo Lawlor, Bishop Luffa School

“An outstanding and highly professional workshop that fully adhered to the needs of our students. Inspirational and highly engaging and viewed mental health from a non threatening and safe perspective.”

Leanne Flood, Head of English at Priory School, Edgbaston.

“Real Talk Theatre’s vibe was infectious! They provided a unique way of engaging with our students and sent a clear message that we need to talk about mental health. I’m glad I found them!”

Suzanne Shooman, PSHE lead at Oswestry School

“I’ve been really impressed with Real Talk Theatre Company from start to finish. When I contacted them about the workshops they were really great at getting back to me and the communication was fantastic. They really listened to what I would like to be included in the workshops.  When it came to the day of the workshops- I was amazed! The students LOVED the puppet show! Every time the puppets appeared-it was all eyes on them. They were so engaged. It was so good to see the children having the ability and opportunity to talk about their feelings and understand that their actions impact others. I have no doubt that this has really helped with their development.”

Siobhan Adams, Vice Principal of Harris Primary Academy Beckenham

“I really enjoyed this workshop. It made me feel a lot better as I had a really bad morning and it made me feel more open and it taught me how to interact with other people and not get angry.”
